UUCJ Contact List

Please let Judy know if you want to be included on the contact list of members and friends that we are creating for folks who want to get in touch with each other within our community.  No problem if you'd rather not, but let us know that.  And, if being on the list is acceptable to you, then we need to know how much of your information we can share -- your phone number(s)?  your address?  and/or your e-mail address?

Save Your Scraps!

Our compost bins still need kitchen scraps, so please save your vegetable peelings, coffee grounds, and other non-meat scraps and bring them to feed our worms over the winter.  Just collect your scraps in a plastic container, keep them in your refrigerator, and bring them with you to church on Sunday.   Don’t let those nutrients go to waste!

If you visit our compost bin this spring you will notice we are blessed with spreading sweet potato vines that promise some good eating later on in the summer.  Please avoid disturbing them as you add or remove compost to suit your needs.

Coming Soon!  New carpet in the UUCJ sanctuary.  Thank you to everyone who voted.  "Wolf Eyes" was the winner.

  • the Lunch Bunch gathers at local restaurants for food & conversation at local restaurants. You are welcome to join any time. Meet at the back of the sanctuary after services (except when the monthly Potluck is held) to decide where to go.

  • FAIR TRADE CHOCOLATE, COFFEE, & TEA is available for purchase through UUCJ. See Mary Margaret!

  • Please place your plant wastes in our COMPOST bin and any recyclables in our RECYCLING bin if your community does not offer pickup.

  • Help raise funds for UUCJ by purchasing a Kroger gift card.  The $5 purchase price can go towards any Kroger purchase, including gas.  Every time you reload your card at customer service, UUCJ gets FREE MONEY.  That's right!  So go buy groceries.  See Carly, Amy, or Lisa to purchase a card.
