The Fran Leber Reading Resource Library September 5, 2021
The League of Women Voters of Mississippi (LWVMS) and the Jackson Area (LWVJA) presented a donation of Fran Leber’s library to establish a Reading Resource Library at UUCJ as a memorial for Fran Leber, long-time member, leader, and advocate. I visited the church years ago and was interested and impressed with their unique approach to religious community. Now, I’m actively involved and feel as though I am contributing to a community that is meaningful and helps me find the connection that I have always sought but never found in church.
