We come from many faith traditions or from no religion at all. We gather together to support one another in our search for answers to life’s biggest questions and to worship, or to lift up those values that have “worth” for us.

Religious spaces have not always been welcoming places for people of all genders and sexual orientations. The spiritual practice of welcoming is a very important one to our faith community. We work hard to make sure all people, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people, are welcomed as full members of our faith community.     We are saddened to announce the passing of another member, Sawandi Olugbala. Sawandi was a passionate advocate for justice. As a former teacher, he taught us much, with his thought-provoking contributions to any discussion, warm smile and hugs, and life of dedication and perseverance. He will be greatly missed!
