Unitarian Universalist children learn about our seven Principles using simpler language:

Children and Youth

We believe:

1. Each and every person is important.
2. All people should be treated fairly and kindly.
3. We should accept one another and learn together.
4. Each person must be free to search for what is true and right in life.
5. All persons should have a vote about the things that concern them.
6. We should work for a peaceful, fair, and free world.
7. We should care for our planet Earth, the home we share with all living things.

Preschool Children

Our youngest Unitarian Universalist children learn the rainbow principles:

1. RED – Respect each person.
2. ORANGE – Offer fairness and kindness to all.
3. YELLOW – Yearn to learn together.
4. GREEN – Grow by searching for what is true.
5. BLUE – Believe in yourself and your ideas.
6. INDIGO – Insist on a peaceful, fair, and free world.
7. VIOLET – Value our planet Earth.
