The Wheel of the year is comprised of eight Sabbats or festivals that occur on or around the same day each year. The eight Sabbats include four solar events: Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, and Fall Equinox. The other four festivals celebrate the seasonal changes.

• Imbolc/Candlemas // midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox
• Ostara // Spring Equinox
• Beltane/May Day // midpoint between Spring and Summer
• Litha/Midsummer // Summer Solstice
• Lughnasadh/Lammas // midpoint between Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox
• Mabon // Fall Equinox
• Samhain/Halloween // midpoint between Fall Equinox and Winter Solstice
