This Sunday, our CUUPS Chapter will lead us in the celebration of Beltane, also known as May Day. This pagan festival celebrates the start of summer and fertility.
Beltane is a time to welcome the season of growth and life. It’s a time to honor the Earth’s energies and the connection between the human and supernatural worlds. It’s a time to protect crops, animals, and people from harm. It’s a time to appease the supernatural beings that are thought to be especially active at Beltane.
Note: The children will participate in the opening rituals and then attend the children’s religious exploration class.
